The BBQ Spill is a very small biome located at the base of the upper yard. It is a extremely barren and resource lacking area, as well as hosting some dangerous hazards and Creatures.
Overview[]
The BBQ Spill consists of a tipped grill that has spilled hot Charcoal and ash around the ground. The charcoal across the yard is very hot, and will create a sizzle effect like in the Sandbox, except more rapid and deadly. Wearing a full set of Antlion Armor will reduce the sizzling a little, but it is still deadly. Wearing the armor and eating a Quesadillantlion will reduce it to a safer level to gather the EverChar Coal Chunks. Along with this danger, Ladybird Larva are under the ground all across the ash, and will rise if the player walks near them. Some Wolf Spiders can also be found resting under the lid of the BBQ, and will wake up and wander the area during night. A discarded bag of EverChar Coal can also be found on the outskirts of the biome, in which it holds the recipe for the Spicy Coaltana. Though not plentiful, Buried Treasure Chests can be found in the biome, though none of the other variants.
Trivia[]
- During the stream where they revealed the Into The Wood Update and in the PTS patch notes for update, the devs would commonly say things along the lines of "oh no, our BBQ, its fallen over".
- This is a joke reference to the popular "Oh no, our table, its broken" meme.
