The Basketball is an odd Misc tool that is crafted from Berry Leather and primarily designed to be used with the Basketball Hoop. When equipped, the player will passively dripple it along the ground. Standing still with it will have the player dribble in place, as well as cycling through two idle animations in which they bounce it in-between their legs and spin it on one finger.
When throwing, the player can hold the action button to hold it in a throwing position. Letting go will throw it in an upwards curve slightly above the players crosshair. The player can additionally huck it instead, throwing it in a straight, more powerful line.
It actually deals repair damage, meaning if it hits a base structure, it will actually heal it by 1 point rather than dealing any damage to it.
It has a variant made of Pupa Leather, but they function identically.
