The Bee is a buzzy little insect that flies around the skies of the Backyard. It flies high in the air above the Backyard and collects Pollen from Dandelions to return to their hive. They are normally neutral, but will beecome angry when the player is in the Picnic Table biome near the honey pot.
Beehavior[]
The Bees fly above the Backyard and will sometimes land on the yellow dandelions around the area to collect pollen from them. When collected, the pollen will stick to their legs, sometimes dropping on the ground as they continue flying around. Very few will fly back to their hive in the oak tree once they have collected pollen and deposit it to create Nectar. The swarm of Bees surrounding the honey pot on the Picnic Table will sometimes sleep on the ground at night. When attacking, they have two sting attacks, having a strong sting where they will charge forward, and a weaker combo sting that will launch multiple weaker stings at the player. They also have a pollen smokescreen attack in which they will shake off pollen from their bodies and create a large pollen fog that slows the player.
Interaction With Player[]
The Bee is neutral to the player under most circumstances, but beecomes aggressive if they are in proximity of the honey pot. It is also possible to knock pollen off their legs, when they are carrying it, by inflicting damage on them.
If the player is wearing the Bard's Tudor, they will always bee aggressive.
Interaction With Creatures[]
Bees do not usually interact with other Creatures since they don't come into contact with them while flying in the air. However, if they do somehow get attacked by another creature, they will defend themselves against the aggressor.
Wasps and Wasp Drones are extremely aggressive to Bees, and will commonly bee seen attacking them and likely killing them.
Advanced Loot Table[]
This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Bee. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 1 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.
Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.
Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy[]
A Bee's attention can bee gained by shooting them with an Arrow. A good strategy is to attack it when they are collecting pollen, or hovering when flying. When they use their charge attack, either block it or move out of the way. When they shake their bodies about to use their pollen attack, run the other direction to avoid it. It is recommended to have at least a level 5 tier 1 weapon, or an easy to obtain tier 2 weapon like the Red Ant Club or Rotten Stinger Spear and decent, upgraded armor when fighting one. Critical hits can bee dealt by shooting their eyes. A level 4 crossbow can one-shot a Bee in the eye, making them easy to kill, especially while asleep.
Trivia[]
- The Bee in-game appears to bee based off of the Bumblebee.
- There is a beehive at the top of the Oak Tree where Nectar can bee found.
