Creature Cards are a game mechanic that allows the player to view unique information about Creatures in Grounded. They are obtained by using the PEEP.R.

The collection menu can be found in the DATA tab of the player's SCA.B. Each unique card will display a creature's tier, weaknesses, resistances, and weak points, as well as a description of the creature and how many times the player has killed it.

While in PEEP.R mode, the player can collect these cards by hovering their view over the body of a creature (dead or alive) and pressing on Xbox, on Playstation, or on PC.

There are 65 regular creature cards and 74 gold cards for the player to obtain. All creatures have a gold variant of their creature card, but not all creatures have a regular creature card.

Gold Cards

There is a 1% chance for the player to obtain a gold variant of Creature Cards when harvesting a creature's remains. Gold Cards are needed to unlock and progress the Trapper PEEP.R Mutation.

Every New Game+ Cycle, all creature's chances for dropping a gold card increases.

Special Cases

• Most repeatable Bosses and the Meaty Gnat have a 10% chance to obtain their Gold Card from their respective corpses. The Infected Broodmother, despite being a repeatable boss, has only a 5% chance.
• Bosses that can only be fought once (Assistant Manager, Director Schmector, Mant) always drop their Gold Card on death, regardless of if they were PEEPed beforehand.
• For creatures invincible to damage, their gold card will be obtained when the player peeps them for the first time. That is, the Crow, Koi Fish, Red Ant Queen, Black Ant Queen, Fire Ant Queen, and Infected Ant Queen.
• The Baby Red Ant, Baby Black Ant, and Baby Fire Ant gold cards are obtained when the player feeds their respective queens their "good" food variant.
• Robotic enemies will always drop a gold card if they are the last of their type in the Backyard. This does not count ARC.Rs and TAYZ.Ts participating in raids.

Trivia

• The background for viewing peeped creatures was changed in 1.0.
• The Water Flea's card border color is incorrect, due to changes in its aggression level.
• All angry creatures eyes are red in their card (if they have visible eyes begin with), except for the Fire Worker Ant.
• The Gnat and Meaty Gnat share the same gameplay model, despite the Meaty Gnat's creature card art depicting it with a chubbier body-to-head ratio.
• Gold Cards can also be obtained by killing mobs spawned during boss fights if the corpse is picked up before despawning. For example: killing Wasp Drones during the Wasp Queen fight.
• The Red Ant Queen, Baby Red Ant, Black Ant Queen, Baby Black Ant, Fire Ant Queen, Baby Fire Ant, Koi Fish, and Crow only have Gold Cards.
