Field Stations are small huts scattered throughout the Backyard. Each one contains a Resource Analyzer, a Resource Surveyor, and an ASL Terminal. The Resource Surveyor and the ASL Terminal will remain unpowered until the player completes the Hedge Surveyor Outpost and the Oak Lab respectively. Upon death, if the player has not set their spawn point at a bed, the "Respawn" option will return them to the closest, discovered field station.
There are 22 Field Stations in the Backyard, each counting as their own individual Landmark.
