The Fire Worker Ant is an tier 3 variant of ants found primarily in the Upper Grasslands and their anthill. Unlike other worker ants, they are aggressive on sight.
Behavior[]
Fire Worker Ants move somewhat quickly on the ground, wandering aimlessly as they hunt smaller creatures and search for large foods. Fire Worker Ants pick up food items and sometimes carry them deep into the Fire Anthill. Occasionally ants will crowd around large foods to collect their bits to bring back to the anthill. Some permanently remain in the anthill while others roam. They oddly don't lay eggs like other ants. When attacking, they have a normal bite, and a more charged bite that is easier to avoid, but does more damage. They can also shoot an acid shot like Termite Workers that lowers defense when inside it.
Interaction with Player[]
The Fire Worker Ant is aggressive and will attack the player on sight unlike other ants. They will sometimes attempt to steal food from Roasting Spits, Storage Baskets and Storage Chests. Similarly, they steal food from unclaimed backpacks of fallen players. An icon is displayed on the container and a sound plays while the food is taken. When the player attacks them, they may run back to their anthills and signal other Fire Soldier Ants to invade the area they were attacked.
Interaction With Other Creatures[]
Fire Worker Ants attack Weevils like all other ants and harvest them for food. They are friendly to other workers and Fire Soldier Ants.
Advanced Loot Table[]
This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Fire Worker Ant. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 1 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.
Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.
Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy[]
Their aggressive nature renders the Fire Worker Ant a constant threat in the Upper Yard, however they remain an inconsequential threat alone and even in small groups for a player wielding tier 3 equipment. A Mint Mace can do major damage to the ants and is very useful for groups. The player should be well versed in parrying ant attacks at the point of meeting them. Their acid shot only reduces defense, but should also be dodged.
