The Infected Ant Shield is a tier 3 shield, crafted from Infected Ant parts.
When equipped and active, it negates all damage from the front, at the cost of some of the player's stamina, unless performing a perfect block. When blocking damage, a block gauge will appear that increases with the amount of damage taken. When the meter is full, the player will be stunned.
The Infected Ant Shield has the added effect of Explosive Resist, which negates blocked explosive attacks damage by 50%.
While equipped, it reduces the players damage by 20%.

Trivia[]
- This shield bears a resemblance to the unimplemented silverfish shield.
- Although the shield gives a 50% explosive resistance, in 1.4.2, all shields were changed to fully block all explosive damage, rendering this effect useless.
