Infused Spears are tier 4 tools obtained from killing the Director Schmector in New Game+4 or higher at a 25% chance for each spear to drop. There are 5 Infused Spears, being infused versions of the Pebblet Spear, Stinger Spear, Bone Trident, Rusty Spear, and Fungnir, though they have equal stats.
Along with being the strongest weapons of their class, they also have the unique trait of coming with two random effects. These effects can be any effect from weapons, armor, trinkets, and more. The effects will take hold while the player is holding the weapon, and not affect the player if it's not being held. The effects it comes with when being obtained is permanent, and cannot be changed. The chances of receiving any 2 of these effects at one time is roughly 1 in 12500.
Due to dropping from the Director Schmector, the player has only one chance per New Game+ to get an Infused Spear from it, though due to its high drop chance, it is unlikely the player will not get one. The chance of not getting one is about 24%.
