The Insulating Larva Spike is a tier 2 trinket that, when equipped, increases the player's resistance to sizzle damage in the Sandbox, BBQ Spill, and from Ladybird Larva attacks.
It has a 5% chance of being dropped and a 1/9 chance from Stealing from wandering variants of Ladybird Larvae, and not the burrowing larvae or those participating in the Spicy Coaltana event. It provides you with a 50% sizzle protection.
It can be obtained as a guaranteed drop from one of the Ladybird Larvae in the Ladybird Burrow.
