The Jerky Rack is a Food utility. It is used to create certain leathers using less material and dry raw meat into jerky. Food dried on the Jerky Rack refills hunger but does not heal the player despite the description in the game saying so.

It takes 8 in-game hours (16 min) to finish drying an item. All items are dried simultaneously.

How To Use

Once opened, the Jerky Rack UI will show the player's inventory. Suitable items will be highlighted. Selecting and confirming one of these items will physically hang it on the Jerky Rack. Once drying has finished, the item will change appearance and the player can collect the finished product.

Only 3 items can exist on the Jerky Rack at one time, regardless of how many are already dried.
