The Ladybird Shield is a Tier 3 shield, crafted from Ladybird parts.
When equipped and active, it negates all damage from the front, at the cost of some of the player's stamina, unless performing a perfect block. When blocking damage, a block gauge will appear that increases with the amount of damage taken. When the meter is full, the player will be stunned.
The Ladybird Shield has the added effect of Block Free Attack. With it, there is a 25% chance, when blocking damage, for melee attacks to cost 0 stamina for 5 seconds.
While equipped, it reduces the players damage by 20%.
The crafting recipe is unlocked by analyzing a Ladybird Shell.
