Notes[]
- Kills for weapon mutations do not count if they are killed by additional Status Effects such as Poison or Bleed.
- They also don't count for passive Creatures.
- Regardless of participation or attendance, all players in a server unlock boss mutations and Guard Dog once their corresponding unlock requirements are met.
- ↑ The Battle Buddies mutation stacks when another teammate uses it, reducing damage by a further multiplicative 75%. The end result is 93.75% less damage taken from teammates.
- ↑ The Grass Master mutation works for cutting Grass, Dry Grass, Bur Weeds, Eelgrass, and Husky Weeds.
- ↑ The Rock Cracker mutation works for busting Pebbles, Salt Clusters, Toenails, Charcoals as well as the various tiers of Quartzite and Marble. Oddly, it also works on Clay nodes, and not on Spicy Candy, Sour Candy, or Fresh Mint.
- ↑ The die can be rolled via hitting it with Tools. Stronger tools such as clubs or hammers move it more.
- ↑ Natural Explorer deactivates after dealing direct damage or healing to a non-passive creature. Indirect damage sources include the thorns effect, traps, and gas damage. The mutation activates again after losing the creature's aggression or 20 seconds have passed, but this timer can be reset by the triggers mentioned. Killing the creature does not affect the timer.
- ↑ Reliable Friends revive speed bonuses oddly work on BURG.L when he is knocked down in the Oak Lab.
- ↑ The Truffle Tussle mutation can break cracked rocks in two to three explosions, effectively eliminating the need for Brat/Splatburst to pass their roadblocks, so long as you can lure an enemy to the rock.
Trivia[]
- The line "busting makes you feel good" in the description for the Rock Cracker mutation is likely a reference to the song "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr.
- The Coup de Grass mutation is a play on the term "Coup de Grâce", which is a common term for a death blow of a wounded creature, commonly seen as a mercy, or a staggeringly powerful attack towards your sworn enemy.
- Multiple files relating to Mithridatism refer to it as "Mithrisomething".
- The Mom Genes mutation is a reference to so-called "Mom Jeans" which is a specific style of denim jeans that mothers wear due to their wider waistline.
- The Mantsterious Stranger mutation is a reference to the "Mysterious Stranger" perk in Fallout: New Vegas, another game that Obsidian developed in which there is a chance to summon an ally to help you in combat.
- The Bardic Inspiration mutation is likely a reference to Dungeons and Dragons in which a bard could grant another player an extra die to roll and add to any other roll.
