The Poison Gum Sandwich is a special item that allows the player to kill the Black Ant Queen when fed to it. It can be unlocked by finding the Poison Gum Sandwich Recipe, which is found in the Black Anthill Lab. It is specifically found near the area where the player unlocks Sector A, on a large hexagonal table right before the door leading to a cliff with a chest on it.
When fed, the Black Ant Queen will die, causing the Ant Friend Offerings to disappear and all Black Worker Ants to be aggressive on sight. The player can also loot the Black Ant Queen for Black Ant Queen Chunks, Black Ant Queen Pheromones, and a Black Ant Queen Head. The lab behind the Black Ant Queen will also open, holding a large amount of Sturdy Quartzite Shards.
It can only be used once, and using it locks the player out of feeding the Black Ant Queen any other options of Gum Sandwich.
