The Pond Lab is an Ominent lab located in the Koi Pond, with an entrance in the Pond Depths. It can be accessed at any time though it's recommended to attempt to reach it after the player can obtain a Bubble Helmet and Fin Flops.
Description[]
The area in the Pond Lab can be split into two areas, a destroyed portion located in the Pond Depths, and the relatively intact interior. The outside of the Pond Lab is mostly composed of scattered wreckage located in the Pond Depths, with the main moonpool entrance being locked. The player can enter the lab via a shattered fragment located on the walls of the cave, which will lead to a submerged hallway and storage room before eventually leading into a section of the main lab. The Lab holds a large amount of TAYZ.Ts as well as a special type of Ominent variant of Simple Beds.

Reaching The Lab[]
To enter the Pond Lab, the player must first enter through the Pond Depths and travel to the center of the cave to the main section of the Pond Lab entrance. To make this journey the player should make a Bubble Helmet and some Fin Flops for the journey, as well as Liquid Gills and Fluid Flippers as an optional safety measure. Once the player finds the main entrance, they can enter the Lab via a broken corridor located on the side of the cave wall that will lead to a submerged section. The door to the smaller portion of the lab will be blocked by a Biometric Scanner the player has to use to open it. It will eventually lead to a smaller part of the Lab that holds some beds for a respawn point and a button to activate the breakers, though it is restricted from the rest of the lab.
Activating The Breakers[]
Once the player pushes the button, they will have to turn the dials on three breakers to open the main door to the lab. Two of the breakers are simply located around the lab entrance in obvious locations, while one is scattered among a clump of wreckage. It can be accessed by going through a corridor and timing the time to swim throughout it to avoid the jetstreams that will push the player. Once all the breakers are on, the player can enter the Pond Lab.
The Main Lab[]
Once the player enters the main room of the lab, the player can press a button to open the breaker button room if they wish. The other door that will be unlocked will be a room that will lead through multiple corridors that will hold many locked doors and only one path through a submerged, wrecked corridor hosting few Diving Bell Spiders. It is recommended to have a Slime Lantern for navigating the cave. It will split into two paths in which one is blocked by Clay, this path leads to a SCA.B Scheme and does not lead to the main lab again. Once the player reaches the end of the correct path, they will be given access to a console that should unlock access to the Pond Hatch and the Pond Dome. The player can then backtrack to the main room where two doors will be unlocked, one that holds 4 TAYZ.Ts and one that leads to the Pond Lab Dome. Once the player reaches the dome, they can travel up the stairs and reach the final console that will turn the Pond Lab Dome into auto mode and also holds a BURG.L Chip on the seat. From then, the player can leave via the Pond Hatch or the way they came.
