The Scythe of Blossoms is a Tier 3, two-handed Scythe. It deals Chopping and Slashing damage. Due to it being a chopping tool, it is able to harvest higher tier materials, such as; Bur Weeds, Donuts, Lint Clumps, Pop Caps, Splinters, and Widow Web Sacks. It can still harvest tier 1 and tier 2 Resource Nodes.
When equipped, it applies the Yoked Blows effect that increases the player's critical hit damage by 100%.
Upgrading the Scythe of Blossoms to level 6 (Mighty) at a Smithing Station imbues it with the +Critical Hit Chance effect. This effect increases the player's chance of dealing critical damage by 5%.
Because it is crafted from Mantis parts, the Scythe of Blossoms is affected by the Apex Predator mutation.

Notes[]
- If upgraded to level 6 (Elemental), the Scythe of Blossoms loses the Slashing damage type.
- The Scythe of Blossoms is the only weapon to do two tool-based damage types at the same time.
- The Scythe of Blossoms keeps the tradition of scythes being notoriously weirdly categorized in games. It deals both Slashing and Chopping damage, but benefits from the Assassin mutation instead of a mutation like Chopper or Blademaster. It is also the only two-handed weapon to benefit from the Assassin mutation.
- The Scythe of Blossoms is the only item in the entire game that uses the tag "Equipment.Weapon.Scythe." Daggers use the tag "Equipment.Weapon.Dagger."
- All of these apply to the Infused Scythe as well.
- The repair cost of the Scythe of Blossoms is one Mighty Jewel, which is the only use for that material other than upgrading gear.
