The Smithing Station is a Miscellaneous utility. It is used to enhance Weapons and Armor.
It has a stronger variant found in New Game+ called the Yoking Station.
How to Use[]
Once opened, the Smithing Station UI will show the player's inventory. Suitable items will be highlighted. Confirming an item will switch the screen to the enhancement menu.
The enhancement menu shows the item's current level and stats, cost to enhance it, and the stats it will gain. Once enhanced, it can not be reverted.
Weapon Enhancement[]
All weapons have a standard enhancement path from level 1 to 5 that improves their damage and durability.

After level 5, the player must choose between 5 upgrade paths: Mighty, Fresh, Spicy, Salty, or Sour.
The "Mighty" upgrade path has the same stats as the elemental upgrade paths, but gives an additional effect to some weapons, including:
- Basic axes, clubs, hammers, spears, and swords all receive Finale Damage.
- Daggers receive +Perfect Block.
- Rapiers, the Ant Queen Scepter, and the Blaster of the Moldy Matriarch receive +Attack Stamina.
- Club of the Mother Demon receives +Poison Damage.
- Scythe of Blossoms and Bard's Bow receive +Critical Hit Chance.
- Mint Mace, Breathslayer, Pucker Thumper, Sizzle Striker, and Tingle Tongue receive Finale Aftershock.
- Salt Morning Star and Salt Chipper receive Finale Bleed.
- Acid Edge, Blazing Edge, Fresh Edge, Picklemaul, and Wallopeño receive Finale Fury.
- Spicy Coaltana, Fresh Coldtana, and Sour Katanga receive Finale Parry.
- Frosted Flake and Pepper Flake receive Finale Stamina Surge.
Any other weapons receive no unique effects.
The other 4 paths, on top of the normal damage and durability boosts, imbue the weapon with corresponding Damage Augments.
Certain Tools can only follow the "Mighty" path. This includes all shovels, repair, all ranged weapons, pre-augmented (weapons with elements already added without upgrading), rotten, and the two robot weapons (Pinch Whacker and Prod Smacker).
