The Tadpole is an aquatic creature that can be found in the Koi Pond biome. They primarily serve as a food source in the Koi Pond.
Behavior[]
Tadpoles will aimlessly swim around the pond either alone or in groups near the surface of the pond. They will utter small chirps when undisturbed, and will swim quickly away when attacked. Apart from that, they are relatively simple creatures.
Interaction With Player[]
Tadpoles are passive towards the player and will simply flee when attacked. They only really serve as a food source for the player and have no other interactions.
Interaction With Other Creatures[]
Tadpoles do not have any interactions with other creatures, but will commonly be hunted by the predators found in the biome, mainly being the Diving Bell Spiders and the Koi Fish. Diving Bell Spider will attack the Tadpoles, but prioritize Water Fleas more while the Koi will only eat Tadpoles, swallowing them whole.
Advanced Loot Table[]
This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Tadpole. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 1 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.
Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.
Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy[]
Tadpole are incredibly easy to kill. A few swings with a Pebblet Dagger or better is enough to kill the Tadpole, due to their low health and slow speed.
Trivia[]
- The tadpoles in-game loosely resemble the American Toad tadpole. Toad tadpoles are short and fat, like the ones seen in-game, whereas frog tadpoles are long, skinny, and often freckled with gold spots.
