The Termite King is a powerful creature found in the depths of the Termite Den guarding the Woodpile BURG.L Chip. It respawns in the same location exactly three days after being defeated and will only respawn on time as long as the player is not too close to the spawn area. Despite having some traits of a boss, its card suggests that it is merely a strong creature.

Despite only having one spawn in the Backyard, they can attack in termite Factional Raids.

Behavior[]

Termite Kings simply wander the chamber they spawn in. They don't do anything apart from the wandering and guarding of the chip. They can only preform a basic side bite, a 3-combo bite, a charged bite, and a heavily stunning bite, but the Termite King tends to prefer using its stunning bite over other moves.

Interactions With Player[]

Termite Kings are aggressive to the player like any other Termite.

Interactions With Other Creatures[]

Termite Kings only wander a small chamber of the Termite Den, and as such they are passive to Termite Workers and Termite Soldiers.

Advanced Loot Table[]

This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Termite King. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 1 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.

Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.

Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy[]

Termite Kings are not very strong, except for the heavy stun they deal even when perfect blocking their attacks. The larger problem is clearing the other creatures around them. A tier 3 weapon and tier 2-3 armor is recommended to deal with them. Their attacks can be easily blocked. But, his stunning bite attack will always cause a deadly stun, even if blocked or parried, that can lead to being melted by the nearby adds.

Only normal Termites Workers spawn in its chamber, meaning their acid spit is a real problem, so killing them first may be a good strategy.

Trivia[]

  • Despite the Termite King in-game appearing to be blind like the worker and soldier termites, Termite Kings in real-life have small, weak eyes.
