When equipped, it applies the Infection effect. Dealing damage with the Toenail Scimitar decreases the target's attack speed and attack damage by 10% for 10 seconds. This does not stack.
Upgrading the Toenail Scimitar to level 6 (Mighty) at a Smithing Station imbues it with the Finale Damage effect. This effect increases the damage of the 3rd hit in the attack combo by 10%.
