The Upper Grasslands is a dangerous variant of the lower yards Grasslands located in the eastern upper yard. This region is much more overgrown, as well as being full of very dangerous Creatures across its entire area.

Overview[]

The lower portion Upper Grasslands is dominated by foliage such as large ferns and larger Grass. It's also full of Toadstools and many broken pipelines are scattered throughout the area. There are many crevices and tunnels with some loot across this area. Some other items are found in this area, such as some toy soldiers in multiple positions. The part near the shed is home of the JavaMatic, with all foliage around it being removed to put defenses for the JavaMatic Defense Event. Next to the JavaMatic is the Brawny Boy Bin, which is filled with Wasps and other items. There's also multiple trash bags, having no real use. Next to those trash bags it a large fallen ladder as well. In the center of the Upper Grasslands is a large Lawnmower, and a toolbox next to it full of Rust. Down to the left of that is a Fallen Tire, Having a chest inside with the recipe for the Bomb Arrow. In the right-most corner of the area below the ladder is the Stump, holding the Stump Lab Outpost. To the left is a portion of the stump, hiding Thor's Pendant inside. The walls around the area are also different, being made of bricks rather than wood and being covered with vines. Some bricks are also missing from the wall, having some loot and a Field Station near the Wheelbarrow, and the Sticky Key being in a missing brick above the Ladder, requiring Parkour on the vines and leaves to get up.

Trivia[]

  • Behind the brick wall of the area in the out of bounds section of the map, there are 3 2D planes of "Potato Chefs" flat in this area.
    • These planes are normally unviewable, but are possible to see by doing tricky parkour to reach the top of the wall.
    • The actual "Potato Chef" is actually a developer joke, in which it is an early concept map of the Backyard, but with multiple doodles on top of it to make it look like a Potato Chef.
