The Zipline Anchor is a Navigation utility. It is used to start or end ziplines.

How To Use[]

Making Ziplines[]

Interacting with a Zipline Anchor will move the player's camera to its POV and lock onto the closest anchor within line of sight. When linking, the amount of Silk Rope required to make a connection depends on the distance between the two anchors. Silk Rope can come from the player's inventory or nearby storage.

If there are multiple ziplines, the player can choose between the anchors, including the pre-made anchors found in the Backyard. You will not be able to make ziplines if an object is blocking its path, excluding Grass.

There is no limit to the amount of connections one Zipline Anchor can make.

Riding Ziplines[]

A zipline can only be ridden downwards unless the player possesses the ZIP.R. The speed of a zipline is determined by the angle of its connection. The player can be knocked off of ziplines by objects in its path.

Players can send items they're hauling like Grass Planks and Weed Stems down a zipline by pressing the "Drop" input on the zipline. The ZIP.R has no effect on this.

Notes[]

  • The maximum distance two Zipline Anchors can be to make a connection with only 1 Silk Rope is about 15cm. 1 more Silk Rope is required for every 20cm after that.
